My name is Jehzira Huwaë. I have enjoyed working as a family care advisor for almost 11 years now. I am passionate about helping informal carers, because I know how hard it can be to care for someone close to you. Sometimes it is at the expense of yourself. And guarding boundaries is often complicated.

Besides the large group of adult informal carers, I pay extra attention to young informal carers. I give guest lectures and presentations and organise the Week of the Young Informal Caregiver every year. I also work on communication: from promotional materials to socials, to put Mantelzorg Nijmegen & Sterker Ouderenwerk well on the map.
